The Grande distribution cabinet is our largest solid rubber portable cabinet and has been specially designed by us for large-scale (construction) projects with high power outputs and maximum requirements for safety, capacity, and flexibility.
It is assembled using the most modern quality materials from the brands Siemens, Bremas, and Eurokontakt, and is built according to the latest techniques in the most robust design in accordance with European Standard EN 61439-4. This portable distribution box is tested under full load and high voltage and is provided with a comprehensive test certificate displaying all measured values.
Version Grande 400 KL 8 6A:
Main switch: 4p. 400A.
Input/through-feed: via terminal box with M10 cable connection
Power 1: 2 underground cable groups 125A protected by 1 thermal maximum 125A RCD, adjustable per underground cable group
Power 2: 2 flush-mounted sockets 5p. 63A protected by 1 circuit breaker 63A and 1 earth leakage circuit breaker 63A 0,3A per socket.
Power 3: 4 flush-mounted sockets 5-pin 32A protected by 1 32A circuit breaker per socket.
The 32A power circuits are earth leakage protected by means of 1 RCD 40A 0,03A.
Light: 6 built-in sockets 2p. + earth 16A secured by 1 circuit breaker 16A per 2 sockets.
The 16A lighting circuits are protected by a single 40A 0,03A residual current circuit breaker.
Pre-protection: the 16 and 32A groups are pre-protected by 1 63A circuit breaker.
Standard: Steel frame high model, heavy galvanized. The lifting bracket is optional.
- Housing made of 100% solid rubber; unique composition where impact and shock resistance is the starting point.
- Use of premium materials such as: Siemens, Eurokontakt, BTicino and Bremas.
- The frame is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, which guarantees complete protection and a wear-resistant, durable finish, and remains rust-free. This makes the frame particularly suitable for intensive use and application in outdoor environments.
- Our portable distribution boxes are designed for maximum serviceability. Sockets can be easily replaced from the outside without having to open the distribution box. This allows interventions to be carried out quickly and efficiently, resulting in minimal downtime. In addition, safety is significantly enhanced, as no access to live parts is required during replacement or maintenance.
- The Grande is tested and comes with a comprehensive test report.
Bos distribution cabinets are extensively tested under full load in accordance with the European standard EN 61439-4. This standard ensures safe electrical installations at construction sites. Using our modern testing equipment, we test for all possibilities, from high voltage to leakage current testing. After this test, every distribution cabinet receives a unique and comprehensive test report, which can be downloaded anywhere via a scannable QR code.
