Halogen-free ground cable

Z1O-YMz1 Kas mbzh 0,6/1 kV

Appearance:
Ground cable (1.5 mm² - 6 mm² halogen-free)

A cable to be put in the ground and for above-ground installations where, for instance, high mechanical and electrical protection is required. The outer jacket doesn't burn easily and has fire-retardant properties. It is halogen-free. The multiple-core version is usually used as an auxiliary power cable as well as in measurement and control (instrument) engineering.

Properties:

  • Halogen-free and ''low smoke'' so no aggressive gases are released during a fire and smoke development is restricted.
  • Suitable for a maximum continuous conductor temperature of 90 C° and may temporarily be allowed to go as high as 130 C°.
  • The cable doesn't burn easily, in accordance with the IEC 323-3 cat. A. This prevents a fire from jumping down the length of a cable bundle.
  • The cable can still be installed even at a minimum temperature of minus 20 C°.
